Our Pangolin bracelet was inspired by the unique keratin scales of the pangolin and their habitat. The silver bead represents the strength of the pangolin when they curl up into a ball for protection. This bracelet is made from Chinese rainbow jasper and unakite.
Profits from this bracelet will benefit WildAid.
The funds raised will go directly to the pangolin program to support WildAid’s initiatives to reduce the demand for pangolin products. Pangolins have unique hard scales resembling pinecones, which are made of keratin (the same thing as our hair and fingernails) While many people have never heard of a pangolin, the pangolin is the worlds most trafficked mammal. They have been hunted almost to extinction because of mythical beliefs that their scales have medicinal value. Pangolin meat is also considered a delicacy in China and Vietnam.
